In the Met Gala Edition of British Vogue 2026, in the wedding edit, a wedding I planned is featured. A private destination wedding held at the Four Seasons Hotel Danieli in Venice, Italy.

The couple, and the people closest to them, stayed at the hotel for the days surrounding the wedding. A Riva boat was arranged for their time in the city. Rooms, menus, services, every detail of the timeline, all of it was handled before they arrived, so that when they got there, none of it required their attention.

I brought in the photographers specifically for this Venice wedding. The brief was simple: present, but never felt. The kind of pictures that look spontaneous because they were, nobody chasing shots, nobody pulling anyone away from a conversation. Just the day, documented the way it actually felt.

Dinner was held at Restaurant Terrazza Danieli, the rooftop restaurant at the top of the hotel, looking out over Venice as the sun went down. That is what is possible when every detail is handled with intention, your wedding, exactly as you imagined it.
